Christianity is 'The Beast'?

I thought this was a pretty clever post from another website regarding christianity (of course I'm going to hell just for having noticed it. Ah well.) :
"Fundamentalist (legalist) Christians are working on getting laws passed to "return" the U.S. to "Christian morality". If they succeed to the degree they desire, they will, in effect, BE the government. On the other hand, we are hearing how the End-times will have the government forcing people to "accept the mark of the beast" in order to get food, fuel, etc... If both of these scenarios do come into being, would that not make the legalistic Christians into "the beast" they so adamantly warn against?"
