I predicted this would happen about three months ago. 6 year olds are now beginning to join the ranks of public school shooting spree assasins. Some cute little 3 foot high ankle biter pulled out a gun in school and blew away a little girl (also 6 years old I think).The school is not holding classes today to give everyone a chance to "deal" with the shock. How generous of them.
I want to make another prediction right now before it comes to pass: The next round of articles (or the one after) will be peppered with anxious please from parents, school officials, and various other interests to get all the kids that WEREN'T viciously murdered back in school and "back to normal" so that we can forget all about this horrible tragedy thus insuring that absolutely nothing of any real substance will ever be done about.
My questions as usual will be:
1) What "normal" state of affairs is there for these kids to "go back to"? Can an environment that inspires and allows 6 year olds to shoot each other with handguns accurately be called "normal"? Well, yes.....if your brain is a pea rolling down an eight lane highway.
2) How could ANY parent be OK with putting their kid back into that school much less be in a big hurry to do so? This has been boggling my mind ever since these shootings started being publicized three years ago. Shouldn't the first priority toward a child be to protect it from getting killed? Doesn't that supercede all other considerations? It horrifies me to no end that so many parents, especially upper middle class parents like Littleton's that can easily afford safe alternatives, become desperate with anticipation to put their children back into deadly environments.
What can be said for this except that this is just how barbaric and hopeless western civilization has become. When six year olds are murding six year olds and all anybody wants to do is pretend like nothing is happening, I say its all over my friends. At least I'm praying for it to be now that we've reached this level. How humiliating. How disgraceful.
Oh yeah, then they're talking about whether or not to prosecute the six-year-old. What are they gonna do, put a six-year-old boy in state pen for life?! Oh yeah, that's fair. Is there no end to the stupidity? Jesus Christ, I give up folks. We have really lost it.
And the school principal. Oh boy, do I love this plastic f_ck. There's this picture of his fat ass on the net with this stupid "who me" look smeared across his face and this great quote: "We're just interested in the healing process." F_ck you asshole. (The healing process. Right.) He's only interested in the healing process because.....because.....why? Otherwise we'll be talking about whether or not our kids should be risking their lives everyday going to school so that he can keep his job? What worthless peice of cr_p this guy is. Why didn't the little psycho have the wherewithall to shoot the HIM instead? At least there would have been a bright side to all of this.
