Mr. Gort …

You realize, of course, that the purpose of this discussion has little to do with Christ’s ‘ethnicity’ (in the sense of that concept having any meaning), but is meant simply to ridicule you, and to imply that you (and perhaps the whole of Christendom) is racist for the suppression of these supposed ‘facts’. In truth, the evidence is no more important to this discussion than actual empirical data is to Farinata’s stance on global warming. The arguments presented are intended as political tracts, not statements of truth.

Remember that these are the same sort of people that contrived the infamous metaphysical construct known as ‘liberation theology’; the idea being to win over Christians to a basically atheistic and brutal doctrine by using Jesus as an advertising gimmick. In this case, it is meant to muddy the teachings of Christ, which are virtually antithetical to those of Marx, by attaching to them charges of racial duplicity. It is pursued all the more fiercely in the face of a failed suppression of Biblical teachings by these same Marxists, where earlier theft and murder was justified in the name of a drug war against the ‘people’s opiate’. It is as principled as the stance of many Leftists on the environment (whose track record on this issue, in states that have fallen to the mob rule of a People’s Glorious Party or All-Knowing Heffe have truly pushed the bounds of ‘ecological suicide’ … as it were).

Christ himself was fairly clear on his ethnicity. He resolutely stated that his kingdom was ‘not of this world’ and that he was a visiting representative of the ‘Kingdom of God’. I am personally not aware of any secular state making temporal claims on the territory of His Realm (although many prominent communists did claim to be virtual ‘gods of materialism’, or somesuch). Even Rome has not gone this far. If you know otherwise, drop me a line.

"Doc" Cruel

P.S. In regards to ‘inter-racial couples’ in those days: such activity was quite common in Egypt, where identity was based more on religious rather than ethnic markers. It is true that ‘tribalism’ in the ancient Hebrew world played a great part in the culture of that people, but this sort of thing was not universally common. Indeed - it was the universalism of Jesus, pitted against the reigning Party officials of the time (I believe they called themselves the Sadducees back then), which eventually led to his most unfortunate ‘purge’. Then, as now, the intellectuals of the day always looked poorly on those that held ideas contrary to their own - especially when they threatened their meal ticket.

As it has been said before, so it is still true: The more things change …

In any case, enough of this pompous buffoonery.
