It's too bad you had some terrible managers and that you didn't like your overall experience at the place. I honestly don't know how McDonalds works because I work at Burger King and as a manager I do find that sometimes managers have a difference of opinion on some things than the crew. You might not like your managers but realize that not all treat thier employees like dirt. When I was a crew person I liked most of my managers and even now as a manager now I get along well with all employees, from the middle-aged day crew to the teen aged night crew. Me and one of the other managers here are both 21, so maybe that's why we get along so well with the kids. Tho other 2 managers at my store are both in thier 40's, and one of them is one of my favorite people to work with. She gets along with everyone too and all the kids love her.The store manager though, he is a jerk. Let's just say he does not treat people they way he would want to be treated. Don't get me wrong, he won't do anything illegal like over-work the employees or not give someone a break (like some managers I read about here)but he just is not a nice person. Nobody likes him, even though he is nice sometimes. He is a great manager, but a terrible person.Anyway, all the employees tell us that the only reason they put up with him and not quit is that us other 4 managers are great. I think it is important to treat the crew like the people they are (besides, I remember what it was like to be a crew person) I hope one day you get some good managers to replace the bad ones you have now.
