: I think it's is so stupid how McDonalds makes people close and then open. I am a crew member and have been so for six months. I really hate the long shifts. I have a 9 hour shift coming up.: I also hate it when they short staff us. Then we get yelled at for being slow. It's not our fault!!!
: Why don't they just hire more people. The customers would probably get good service then and have no reason to complain. McDonalds wouldn't lose out because people would probably come back and they would get their custom again.
Sure, the service would be better, you'd be happier and so would the
customers, but the problem McD's would have with your proposaal is that
it would cost them money, and that would interfere with their number one motive: profit. Apparently, they're trying to get the best of both
worlds by getting you to do two jobs for the price of one.
How do your co-workers feel? These sound like good union demands,
and something the community woul get behind.
