: If slaughter of animals is like you bescribes in your country, I'm happy not to live there. But I don't really believe you. Why? Because of your way to twist my words, you probably twist your reality too.You know NOTHING about factory farms and slaughterhouses! Go to www.farmsanctuary.com, or www.meatstinks.com Learn something, Lars.
: I've probably seen more slaughters than you (I don't know but...). For instance so have I worked in a slaughterhouse, even if it there only for a summer. The reality that you describe probably only exist in your own brain.
Lars in la-la land. See the above links, slaughterhouse worker. By the way, how long did it take to scrub the blood off your hands?
: It's only you who have "talked" about torture of animals, not me. I prefer a quick and a painless slaughter.
1) First off, the animals' lives BEFORE slaughter is one of misery in factory farms; 2) secondly, transportation to slaughterhouses is long & grueling for almost all animals; 3) thirdly, slaughterhouses are brutal places where workers become desensitized to the pain and death they are creating (did that happen to you?); 4) no place which kills animals in an assembly-line atmosphere is humane -- it's a bloody death house.
:You seemed to be possessed by blood, fear, and pain. Maybe you like it? At least it seems so!
You asshole. Anyway, I'm not the one who eats dead flesh. YOU seem ignorant as hell of the reality of factory farms and slaughterhouses, or maybe you know but don't care.
: And your "talk" about that schoolbooks are written by the meat industry are interesting! It is a typical argument then people doesn't have an argument.
Maybe it's different in Sweden, but here in the U.S. textbooks are underwritten by corporations, including the meat industry, and governmental dietary guidelines are certainly influenced by corporate concerns -- once again, you display grand ignorance, Lars.
:It is really the only type of argument you can have when you don't know anything. You "talk" about it as it is a fact, even though it's your own lie. It sounds like a bad exuse for not "listening" to the truth.
Lars' motto: see no evil.
: The scientists and your own body (but you don't know, silly you?)
Fuck you, Lars. Try reading the literature on vegetarianism versus meat-eating and the overwhelming majority conclude that vegetarianism is healthier for the human body.
:all agrees about the fact that you are coded to eat a "fare" consisting partly of meat.
That is patently untrue. Humans are coded to think critically and make decisions based on the information; the information clearly shows that vegetarianism is the healthier choice. Furthermore, I believe it's the moral choice -- I'm coded for that kind of thinking; are you?
:Your own body are in need for essential amino acids and essential fatty acids that only (natural) can be found in meat.
Funny: after nearly 20 years of being a vegetarian, I've managed to stay alive. You are a fool.
: Yes I am for real, but you are living in a dreamworld!
No, but you are overlooking the nightmare world of meat production, you half-cooked Swedish meatball. Who do you work for?
: // Lars
: By the way:
: You didn't answer the question what we shall do with old and sick animals? Retirementhomes or what? Are you paying?
Can't you read? I said if we raise them, we have the responsibility to care for them when they are sick and aged (not kill them, like certain Swedish meatballs on this board would advocate).
