: Have you ever been forced by a customer to eat the fries you've just given them? They always do that to make sure the fries aren't cold and are fresh. They'd say: "Taste these....go on taste these!!!. I'd be forced to eat them because they think they're cold!Don't take this the wrong way, but does your physical appearance suggest a skinny weakling? I know it's unfair, but these are the ones that take the brunt of the abuse from the *ASSHOLES* that frequent the place. Again, I've never worked at McDonald's, but I contend you get an even lower class of customers at Taco Bell. That's because they sell their food solely by price. The busiest day of the month is always the first night of the month--welfare check day.
My point is, though I'm not especially strong, I'm bigger and heavier than most, therefore the customers were afraid to start any of that sort of shit with me. One method that always works is to threaten to call the police. They always leave, since they are either drunk or have narcotics on their bodies, either of which they'd rather the police not find. I imagine drunk driving laws in Australia are stronger than the sissy laws in the US. Remeber, don't smile, don't make eye contact, and don't speak at all, except to take orders and relay the total to them.
