I probably misled you. Getting law enforcement officers involved was rarely necessary, and was done because the police really enjoy cracking the skulls of drunkands. Usually, though, they take care of themselves. Another good tactic is for all food preparation workers to stop what they're doing, and have someone announce something like, "It's too noisy in here, I can't concentrate on getting these orders made!" The sober customers in line are hungry, too, so they will take care of the offending drunkard for you (once they knocked out a couple of teeth in the process).

In my years in purgatory, it was common to have drunk people vomit all over themselves (indeed, I can identify everything on the menu from a quick glance at the puddle), prostitutes use my employer's restaurant as a place to solicit business, homeless people bathing (and sometimes dropping dead) in the bathrooms, and young menacing gang members stick knives into each other, especially on weekends. Twas much like the entertainment aspect of watching the misfortunes of others on an episode of "Cops", but because of the "don't fuck with me" hora I projected, nobody bothered me.
