Our current campaign finance laws restrict the amount you can donate to a politician. This is a direct violation of our First Amendment rights, but what do you expect from Democrats?

If you're interesting in making distinctions between Republicans and Democrats, I'm afraid you have responded to the wrong person's post.

There are none. They both represent the rich.

If you are in favor of the one dollar = one vote version of democracy, then you are either happy having your boss decide how many votes you get to cast---or you are a boss, in which case you probably won't find debating with me very satisfying.

Only 10% of the American population are bosses (Owners of businesses; Source: Business Week, 28 November 1994, p. 34). I say to the 90% of the American people who work to make them rich: Let's get rid of them!

: Don: Now, you can still contribute as much as you want to general advocacy adds (this is soft money), and politicians such as Al Gore will use this money for their campaigns despite the fact that it is against laws that THEY support. All the while the same politicians claim the problem is that there are not ENOUGH laws telling me what I can't do with MY money. They break the laws we have because we don't have enough laws!

Lithium may help you with your problem.
