Don: No, he doesn't. Our current campaign finance laws restrict the amount you can donate to a politician. This is a direct violation of our First Amendment rights, but what do you expect from Democrats?
Don: Now, you can still contribute as much as you want to general advocacy adds (this is soft money), and politicians such as Al Gore will use this money for their campaigns despite the fact that it is against laws that THEY support. All the while the same politicians claim the problem is that there are not ENOUGH laws telling me what I can't do with MY money. They break the laws we have because we don't have enough laws!
