Don: Usually we have one Democrat and one Republican. We also have other candidates: Libertarians, Greens, Peace and Freedom, and so on but they don't get coverage in the national media.

Don: Yes, but . . . campaign finance reform will only make things worse. For one thing, it will give more power to the media and the government to maintain the "major" candidates in power. The media will still have its voice, and the government will choose which candidate to fund. Me and my friends will not be able to pool our money to buy add time for the local Radical Whig with a Tempor Party candidate.
