That would be the same people who consider Anarchism a doctrine of murderign criminals and madmen, Socialism as authoritarian, violent and terroristic if necessary, central management of every aspect of human life?
I'd have thought any "Progressive" worth his salt would be challenging these misconceptions and prejudices not simply saying that's popular I can live with that.
