Don, we have to agree to disagree on what happened in Kosovo, otherwise we'll go back and forth forever.: : As to your other point, about who decides when genocide or other atrocities occur: that's an excellent question, and of course it will always come down to human judgement, but hopefully it will be a decision made by representatives from the international peacekeeping force, based upon recommendations from their elected, civilian authorities.
: Don: I think a better plan is: countries do not meddle in the internal affairs of other countries. Let's leave Serbia, and Russia, and Somolia, and all other such places alone.
My question: would you have taken that stance while Hitler was exterminating Jews in Germany? At some point -- and genocide is a good point -- good people have to intervene in the affairs of other countries. At least, that's what I think.
