Maybe the USA is still one of the best places to live, according to you, because:a) you are white and english is your mother tongue,
b) you are male
c) you are heterosexual,
d) you were gainfully employed for most of your life and never had to settle for minimum wage crap jobs,
e) you've never lived anywhere else and the american propaganda convinces you, along with everyone else inside and outside of the good ole US of A, that your country is the best thing since sliced bread, and much much better
I think it's high time that everyone open their eyes to the inequalities that exist in american society, the epitome of what can be achieved through capitalism.
Here in Canada, things are much the same, only we still have a little of our social fabric, and the collective right to live in peace takes precedence over the individual's right to bear weapons.
