I agree with you entirely. A huge oversight on my part, because I tend to consciously minimize the importance of religion in my day to day life, because I perceive it to be the largest instrument, aside from capitalism, that perpetuates inequalities and hatred. The worst part of this is that it is accomplished behind a facade of brotherly love nad humanitarianism. The hipocrisy of it all!
