Day 257 - 06 Jun 96 - Page 09
Q. Thank you.

MR. MORRIS: Is that the back of AF6?
A. It is, yes.

Q. Was the 'Omnimas classification' at the back of AF5?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. The last document in AF5. In fact, we
gave the documents, some of the new documents, various
numbers last time. They appear on the transcript of 17th
May 1995, and in case there is any doubt about it there is
also a document in AF2, document 6, in the transcript on
the index, the new index.

MR. RAMPTON: I will write on the index if I may.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Also 'Fast Track Attribute '88 to '91' is
document 6, in AF3 also 'Number of People Eating at
McDonald's by Frequency Break '93 to 94' was document 1.
AF4, MWR, 'Who Eats What Analysis' was also document 4,
also MWR 'McDonald's Price Sensitivity Research Stage 2
Demographics' was document 5. AF5, the Taylor Nelson
questionnaire, 'Ask Four Men and Four Women', was document
2, also '1994 Revised Fast Track Questionnaire' was
document 3. I have, in fact, for my own purposes just now
put a No 7 against the 'Omnimas classification' but that is
because I can remember it as a separate document, it was
not given that number last time. Yes, thank you.

MR. RAMPTON: The only other one I seem to have lost was No 4.
Can I ask which No 4 was?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Document 4 was what is AF4, MWR, 'Who Eats
What Analysis', it was called document No 4 just before it
was realised that it was also AF4.

MR. RAMPTON: Yes, I see. I am grateful. Mr. Fairgrieve, only
one question I am going to ask you. Go back to AF3,
Mr. Morris, my Lord, made an observation. I do not know
what it was.

MR. MORRIS: I thought it would be courteous to ask for
permission to further question the witness.

MR. RAMPTON: If Mr. Morris had read the transcripts on the last
occasion he would know that your Lordship expressly--

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I was expecting there would be. In fact it
is in answer to my query, I wanted it explained to me,
I wanted that exercise done if it could be done; there was
some query as to whether it could be done. So, I would in
fact like to hear about it.

MR. RAMPTON: Yes. My Lord, I am not going to ask
Mr. Fairgrieve how he did the calculations partly because
I do not think I understand it anyway. I think I asked him
last time, but I ask him again if I have not already
today: you made these calculations yourself, I think you
said a moment ago?
A. In conjunction with our advertising agency.
