     2   MR. MORRIS:  I think, if you remember, the survey was organised
              by the London Food Commission.  We have a witness, Tim
     3        Lobstein, who is the Chairman of the London Food
              Commission.

         MR. JUSTICE BELL:  Will he give evidence in relation to that?

         MS. STEEL:   He can give evidence in relation to the Peckham
     6        Fastfood Survey.
 
     7   MR. MORRIS:  My understanding is that quite a lot of surveys
              have been alluded to in this case and, as far as I know,
     8        the only person who was -- only the defendants have been
              asked to provide confirmatory documents.

         MR. JUSTICE BELL:  What I suggest happens in relation to that,
    10        because I have not had a chance to look at it and I do not
              suppose Mr. Rampton has, I will put it somewhere suitable
         in my bundles.  Some time, early after our return in
              September, if there is any argument about admissibility of
    12        that, we will have to discuss it further.
 
    13   MR. RAMPTON:  My Lord, can I suggest that the sensible way of
              dealing with it -- I cannot remember her name, that young
    14        lady.
 
    15   MR. JUSTICE BELL:  Ms. Winter.
 
    16   MR. RAMPTON:  Yes, I think she was called Carruthers at the
              time of the survey.  Mrs. Winter now.  She was a diet
    17        student at Leeds Polytechnic I think at the time.  Can
              I suggest that that be impressed also with a Civil
    18        Evidence Act Notice.  We will then consider whether we
              serve a counter notice.  If we do not, then it can stay as
    19        it is.
 
    20        I also have some documents to give to your Lordship.  The
              first was -- there are two documents in that clip.  Both
         arose out of Mr. Gregory's cross-examination and were
              tendered by the defendants.  Your Lordship may have copies
    22        of those already.
 
    23        The Alastair Mews one was in short supply, so we did not
              have a copy.  Maybe the right place for Professor
    24        Campbell's new statement is at tab 5 of section H of the
              defendants' first volume of evidence statements.

         MR. JUSTICE BELL:  Could you give me that again?

         MR. RAMPTON:  Volume 1 of the defendants' statements, section 
    27        H, which is their Civil Evidence Act section on nutrition,
              No. 5.  My Lord, there is an article by Sanders and Reddy
    28        about the nutritional implications of a meatless diet
              which arises out of some answers which Professor Wheelock
    29        gave in cross-examination about the need for balance and
              so on and so forth.
