I didn't disgree with Sarah about the subject of employee scheduling.Besides, I get the feeling that there are more employee rights in Sweden and other such sundry spots in Europe than what I've experienced in this here neck of the woods. lovelife? No I did not. But a little bit of consideration can go along way instead of forcing people into a situation whereby they are literally cogs in a machine.Again it sure sounds like Swedish management practices may be more enlightened than elsewheres if what you are saying is true.Perhaps McD's should adopt the Swedish model.
#3.Working is important .Of that I have no doubt.In a workplace the workers have rights.As a matter of fact workers have rights that you may not know about. One of those rights is a democratic workplace.

But if you don't have democracy in the workplace I feel workers
should demand democracy. Is that too unreasonable? If sacrifices are to be made (like getting fired, made redundant,laid off, downsized and whatnot) for organizing then I think it's a cause worth fighting for.
After all nobody has to fuck anybody else over to make a living. So do I have to be fucked over by somebody else to make a living? That may sound like harsh wording but that is the main part of this question:
