McSpotLight is ludicrous!!!!!!

I may be alone in this, but I McSpotLight is way too critical of McDonald's. Sure, they are a major corporation making money. So what? THAT'S WHAT BUSINESSES ARE FOR--TO MAKE MONEY!

Yes, some of their food is not healthy. What does McSpotLight do? THEY START A HUGE PROTEST!! How stupid is that? Can't they find something better to protest like alcohol, drugs, or abortion??? No, they have to attack a food chain. Yeah, that makes sense.

McSpotLight tries to say that McDonald's advertisements appeal to children. Well what do you expect them to do? Put advertisements in nursing homes? No, they want to sell happy meals, so they target children. That's just logical marketing. There's nothing too life-threatening about that.

I just want people to realize that McDonald's is a business. And just like any other business, they have their weaknesses, but starting a giant campaign against a food chain is not the most logical thing in the world.

McSpotLight supporters are narrow-minded people who have nothing better to do than single out a food chain (instead of drugs or abortion) and start endless protests against it. Why not do something that actually matters????

If anyone shares my views, please speak out and make people realize what a bunch of crap this all is.

Thanks!

P.S. I can't wait to see what McSpotlight ends up putting at the bottom of this message!

McSpotlight: First off, we didn't start a 'huge protest'. London Greenpeace started a small protest; it became 'huge' when McDonald's tried to silence people by suing them (the way it did in 30+ other occasions).

Secondly, the meat industry is responsible for 33% of all the natural resources consumed in your country; yet meateating is 35 times less efficient as a food source and can lead to ill health.

Thirdly, McDonald's promote their food as healthy; despite knowing it to be quite the opposite; and will advertise it as such targeting those who do not have the critical faculties to disseminate their adverts.

In the eyes of the UK legal system, McDonald's exploits children, exploits their workers and is guilty of culpable cruelty to animals. That was the conclusion of a judge who sat through three years of evidence.

Are you seriously suggesting that they shouldn't be criticised?
