why the hell would the corpporation spend money for overtime?

No, Because why the hell would the corpporation spend money for overtime? that is stricktly the store owner/managers decision.
As far as that 24 hour shift....
thats illegal #1
and the overtime is based on weekly hours. more than 40 hours per week, is compensated at a rate of time and a half where i work.
