: most folks would never stay at a job where they were treated like crap. you say the staff turnover is high in you area, well, where are all these ex employees going to work after they quit your store? unless they remain unemployed, i imagine there must be somewhere else that is hiring. you will probably ignore this thought though.

WE HAVE A PETROL STATION AND A CORNER STORE ( that are both family run and have been for generations, so no this is not a possibility.and yes I have asked.We also have a McDonalds - only because it is on the highway where a lot of motorists stop. I have to travel 2 hours to university which consists of 2 departments ( the rest of the campus is scattered around the state). Yes I also have applied for the few available jobs there.And yes I do occasionaly get work on the farms around here but those jobs are seasonal and far between and the farms are mostly family run too.
Another thing. How can you sit there all high and mighty and judge me for not leaving my town? Has it ever occured to you that I might have friends and a boyfriend here? Has it ever occured to you that I have to financially help my mum and my two younger sisters? Especially considering that my dad was in a accident last year???? You probably never thought that I had my reasons but now you know. So please shut up.
