Aspertame - Take the challenge

To those of you wondering if Aspertame is something to watch for...
Here are a few things to think about....
This January (1999) during the WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE and the
MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS FOUNDATION F.D.A. ISSUING FOR COLLUSION WITH MONSANTO. Nancy Markle made some remarkable conclusions and raised some interesting questions. She concluded that the toxicity of the methanol mimics multiple sclerosis; thus having people be mis-diagnosed. "If you are using Aspertame - otherwise known as Equal, Nutrasweet and Spoonful," she said. and you suffer from fibromyalgia symptoms, spasms, shooting pains, numbnes in your legs, cramps, veritgo, dizziness, headaches, tinnitus, joint pain, depression, anxiety attacks,aslurred speeech, blurred vision, or memory loss-- you probably have ASPERTAME DISEASE!"
Many individuals have read the article I am referring to you about and have chosen to try NOT drinking diet or non-fat items containing aspertame and they feel great! If you are a diebetic or epileptic, you should take this information to heart. Aspertame crosses the blood-brain barrier just as neurological drugs do. The problem with this is that when the aspertame is not refrigerated and attains the 86 degree mark, it then becomes a wood alcohol and converts to formaldehyde and then to formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis. (Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants). The methanol toxicity mimics multiple sclerosis.
I received this information from a friend who, at 22 years of age began having violent seizures. No one could explain it and no drug could control it. Then her doctor asked her about her diet and as she changed her diet one item at a time, NUTRASWEET was isolated and the seizures have not returned!
We are all unique, just the way God made us.
