was. Steel and Morris lost all the main points and all they were left
with was minor points like McDonalds don't pay their workers much
(wow! What a revelation!), that their ads target children and that
some McDonalds suppliers are cruel to animals.

Agreed. It does seem like a complete waste of time on a trivial and
unimportant issue but I suppose at the end of the day McDonalds have
been vindicated and tall tales that had been circulating for years
about them have finally been crushed.
