David & Helen's financial responsibility.

Can anyone help me? David & Helen were slapped with a judgment against them worth close to 60,000 pounds each, right? Anyone have any ideas as to how the pair are going to cover these expenses? It doesn't seem right that they should have to be martyred for the anti-McD's campaign, even though they don't seem to mind that premise. Is there any way we can help them out? Thanks.
