How many people does it take to get to the real problem? Speaking personaly I see nothing wrong in soft drink, (the stuff McDonalds sells isn't the same stuff as in the supermaket). But I respect the fact that a parent may not want to let her/his child have it, I that is perfectly fine. As he gows you might want to alow him some, but you don't have to.

Now you'r problem was not you'r falt at all, McDonalds is really poor at traing their staff, and so the person didn't understand that he doesn't have to give you "pop" if you don't want it. But lets face it, it could happen anywhere. All you had to do was through the stuff out, or give it to some kid in there. Anyhow, half the idiots critisizing you are only doing it to support their fravarout fast food store.

You did the right thing, altho there are severa other "right" things you could have done.
