Well I'm happy for you. Fun, good grades, respecting teachers. Tell me, did the teachers respect you as much as you respected them? If a teacher disrespects me, I disrespect them back. You reap what you sow.Sure I'm "making it hard by acting up", but I would MUCH rather have it hard by sticking up for myself, than have it easy and be complacent and put up with all the ignorance like you do.
Acted right by doing homework? Who says that's really the right thing to do? Schools teach kids to be complacent and to do exactly what they're told. I'm sorry but I WILL not live like that. Sure it'll make my boss like me. But I don't care. I don't want people liking me beacuse I do what they tell me, I'd rather have people liking me for WHO I am.
You're partly right about high school preparing kids for the future: it prepares them for being used to doing what they're told and respecting people with "authority" no matter what they do to them. That's the future that the authorative people would like us to have. They'd like us to just be the little obedient consumers so that we won't make any trouble or shed any light on all their wrongdoings.
