If you keep changing the definition of free trade capitlaism into authoritarian fascist tyrranies (as, I have noted it is the tendency of communists to do) then any system can be anything you decide to describe it as.
I could describe the Berlin wall escapee as escaping from statist capitalist Russia to progressive pre socialist germany or some such non-speak.
The 'rule of thumb' is the more authoritarian the more people seek to escape, the variables are how many people can escape and how many people like / hate the particular brand of authoritarianism
