: It was my impression that communism is simply a con. The idea is to 'raise the consciousness' of the mark, then turn him or her on the closest source of wealth nearby. One pockets the proceeds (in the name of the people, of course) and moves onto the next mark.

1:Communism is the 'Common and Democratic Control of the means of Production and Dsitribution by and for the whole of society'. How can one pocket the procedes in that situation- unless of course you are confusing Soviet Style State Capitalism.
2:Communism means abolishing money- how can one pocket that money?
3:Communism can only be brought about by the working class itself, acting in its own self interest- how could another pocket the procedes?
