: : The communist state must be reinstituted in Russia. Human rights reforms should be held in place. Private ownership should be done away with in traditional communistic manner.: I believe it involves gulags, political prisoners, state appropriation, planned starvations and all those fun things.
Comrade Che says: "in the USA there are political prisoners, (Mumia Abu-Jamal, Leonard Peltier, ...), If I am correct the U.S. incarcerates more of its population than anywhere else- except China.
Further, corporate appropriation is even worse than state appropriation. In USA, the American citizenry gets a large chunk of their income appropriated by the state to subsidize the military. Also, a portion of the "appropriated" funds are in the form of advertising writeoffs for businesses> Yes, not only does the American public get brainwashed, but they get to finance their own brainwahing. Cool system, eh?
Further, roughly one-third of American children live in poverty, while the media trumpets in ecstasy when the Dow goes up.
Currently, Russia has all the disadvantages of Communism without any of its advantages. For all its warts, Soviet communism allowed cradle to grave heathcare, shelter, and food (Post Stalin communism at least).
...and education.
Now the safety net of Soviet Communism is yanked away, but the oppressive elements (Dictatorial "presidents," military intervention, corruption) remain intact.
Currently, Russia is experiencing the worst of both worlds.
Muerte Capitalism!
