Bad move, old chap. If the Japs hadn't had Pearl Harbor to attack the Americans would've never got involved in the war in the Pacific. The Japs would have run amok over the Far East and probably have succeeded in their Greater Asia Co-prosperity Sphere scheme. This would probably have posed a problem for the Russkys too, who may not have weathered a second front facing the Japs approaching from Port Arthur.
Funny the way things work out.
