Soy, corn, canola to mention a few

If you eat anything with soy products in it that don't say they are organic, or if you eat any corn or canola oil (ie, EVERY PREPARED FOOD THAT IS ON THE SHELVES) you are no doubt consuming genetically engineered foods. 60% of canola plants are genetically engineered, and these foods are not kept seperate from unmodified foods. Some of each type goes in to all the canola oil you buy or that goes into prepared foods. The numbers are similar for soy beans, and since soy lecithin is in just about every prepared baked good, you are not likely to avoid them. Sorry. Best to buy organic and write letters to your government and grocery stores if you want to do anything about it. My guess is all the shiny veggies in your local grocery store are also suspect.
