North. The Indonesians have activist associations of all
sorts. In particular, environmental organisations thrived in
the 80's. Apparently, these were tolerated openly as a way
of channelling political dissent into relatively "harmless"
directions.
Indonesians also have a lot of jungle that McDonald's must
be dreaming of turning into McCrap outlets and/or cattle
stations...
I'd suggest you contact
the YLKI,
a national consumers' association. If you mailed them a
McSpotlight CD-ROM, they might find that useful for
fighting courtroom battles. I'm sure the Indonesians could
help you as well. After all, they just overthrew their president,
so they must know something about non-violent activist
campaigning...
