As much as...

Farinata, dear friend,

: : I've seen sea shells on the surface of high mountains, hundreds of miles from the oceans, is that not possible evidence?

: It's called sedimentary rock, Robert. You can radioisotopically date it back to the Palaeozoic and Mesozoic eras.

I'm not speaking about embedded shells. I'm speaking about loose shells not associated with any sedimentary beds. They are world wide.

: : Perhaps the several shifts happened during 1) Noahic Flood, and 2) The standing still of the sun in Joshua's famous battle.

: Really? And are you now going to claim, as Martin Luther did, that because Joshua commanded the Sun to stand still, the Sun must be orbiting the Earth?

No, a shifting of the earth's axis would freeze the sun in the sky from the observer's viewpoint. Likewise it would extend the darkness of the night on the other side of the planet. This is not difficult to see, come on now.

: : As for paleomagnetism, the silicon of the magma in the direction of magnetic north upon hardening. This same process happens when a clay piece of pottery is baked in a kiln, the particles will align themselves with magnetic north before hardening.

: Which particles, Robert? Silicon isn't ferromagnetic.

: (note: I gave you a clue as to what actually *is* there.)

Sorry for the gaffe. This is not about my scientific prowess, I never admit to having that much in fact (Apparently you have given far too much credit to date). But that does not discount that the atoms within magma do indeed line up with the north south magnetic dipole, and paleomagnetism does record a shift in the pole.

: : Perhaps I've confused you here. The waters of the deep are the oceans that would wash over the continents upon a sudden shift, not the liquid mantle. I merely described the mantle to show the different physical stratifications of the earth and their inter-relatedness.

: Total hogwash, Robert. You were simply blathering to try and create the image of wisdom, when in fact you know very little about mathematics, geology or astronomy.

Hogwash...hmmm. Perhaps as much hogwash as your "races are different species" theory. A bit Neitschean, and perhaps Aryan at that, isn't it? But the anthropomorphism of Darwinistic theory always leads down that road, given enough time. Now since were in the business of blathering, tell me more about homo-sapien martialius? I'd love to know your sources on this one, smart guy.

: : The operative word here is Perhaps. It's only an idea not proof, but as man learns about extra-dimensionality, he denies it less. For example, scientists now say that after the creation our 4-D universe separated from a 6-D one. Therefore, for every time/space point within our universe, there exists 6 more dimensions with them. Of course we cannot see them. But it is interesting to me that the God of the Bible is the only one who claims transcendence in extra-dimensional time/space. Coincidence, good guesses by Moses et. al.? You choose.

: Robert, as my friend Gideon demonstrated, you know little to nothing about vector algebra and multidimensional geometry. You could claim the moon was green cheese for all the understanding you have of the subject. It wouldn't make it the case.

Ah... perhaps that would be Mars, since you've already proposed a different race there.

: : The anarchists are rank materialists as well. Look how many are evolutionists, atheists, etc. But more, it is the dialectic at work here that is achieving the real aim. A conflict of the opposites, will yield synthesis. A controlled conflict of the opposites, will yield controlled sythesis. This conflict was widely seen last week between WTO and anarchists. It was controlled, as well, by policing mechanisms and by political influences. This much is obvious.

: Complete crap. As one of the original two dozen people who set the events in motion that led to the protest, I can say quite definitely that none of us have anything to do with the WTO.

Hitler never set out to destroy Germany. But he did a pretty good job of it anyway didn't he? (and he was in charge of the whole mess).

Cheers. Perhaps we can start again on a milder tone next time. God Bless.

Robert
