This is getting boring, Robert.

: Floyd, dear friend,

: No one's accusing anyone of any racism crap here. Farinata's the one who proposed that an isolation of humans would eventually develop into another species.

Not true, this had been proposed more than a century ago. Farinata simply recognized that geographic isolation is one of the simplest routes to speciation. Symparic speciation is much less common, although not unknown.

:How bizarre, that's no different than the Neitschian ubermenschen concept.

Yes it is, and this statement suggests to me that your understanding of 19th century philosophy is no better than your understanding of 20th and 21st century biology. Neitzsche made explicit value judgements. Darwinian theory does not make value judgements at all. You are capable of understanding this, you're just actively refusing to use your brain, which strikes me as a tragedy.

:It is not a stretch and you Darwinists, whether you want to admit it or not, are founded on weak sand here.

Bunk. You really have no idea what you're talking about, Robert. You don't have any background in any of the relevant sciences, and your interpretation of the bible, on which you are basing your critique, is also shoddy. In fact, I now suspect that you don't understand your own religion any better than you understand science. Until you do, all your pronouncements and assertions are simply wind.

: I'd advise anyone to distance themselves from this Farinatian homo-sapien-martialus business.

Of course you'd advise this, because you have an exclusively religious agenda and wish to hide or eliminate anything that disagrees with your strange and inaccurate misunderstanding of the bible. Your advice, however, is irrelevant, since you don't understand what you're talking about. Farinata's hypothesis was this: Human populations are not geographically isolated, so allopatric speciation is impossible for humans. In order for humans to speciate due to allopatry, our species would have to colonize other planets. Baring colonization of other planets, humans will continue to have a high degree of gene flow between populations, and therefore will not speciate. Novel traits that appear in one population will spread to other populations.
If you think that is illogical, then you don't have any idea how biology works at all. Maybe you should learn a bit about the subject before you try to criticize it.

:If that's considered Darwinism, then it's a sure loser.

False assertion. Since you don't understand the subject, you are unqualified to make such pronouncements. Go to the talkorigins archive and read up on the science first.

Now PLEASE listen, if you make this false assertion one more time, after both Farinata and I have so patiently explained why you are mistaken, then I'll assume that you are being willfully ignorant of the facts. I have tried to be patient with you. I've tried to explain things to you. I've offered you resources and information. I've done everything I can think of to try to show you that there is no conflict between your faith and the _fact_ of evolution. If you continue to deliberately lie and distort people's words, I'll just have to give up and assume that you want to be ignorant. That's sad, in my opinion, as the parable of the talents is one of the most important of Jesus' teachings, but it's your choice. If you really want to avoid using your brain, there's no more I can do for you, and I'll have to say goodbye. If, on the other hand, you apologize for lying and twisting Farinata's words, then I'll assume that your brain has not atrophied and you are willing to use some of the talents that god gave you.
