: : Qx: With corporate governance as the norm in US society the media mechanisms are set to keep pumping out this propaganda. It doesn't matter if it's really true or even reflects reality. Once a kid has said the pledge of allegiance to the American flag for ten to twelve years straight it's quite easy to circumvent the past and call the sanitized version history.

g: perhaps you can't tell from my e-mail, but i'm a kid, age 15

Qx: So? what's the relevence of that? Are you trying to tell me that you're full of wisdom?

g: What i'm going to say is speaking from me and my freinds pov only, i dont know what some kin in new york or california thinks.

Qx: Then you're arguing from a very subjective point of view. Personal opinion doesn't make for global facts.

g: This is it: I know about 50 kids in my school well enough to have discussed politics with them, about 10% think that the u.s. govt. is genarally a good thing, about the same percent would take place at the lines in a revelution against the govt. I probibly would, myself.

Qx: Again, taking a straw poll of your high school classmates doesn't do a bit of good when attampting to conduct critical enquiry into the teaching of American history in high schools. Before you come back here, the best thing to do is to look at yur high school history texts to see how much in the way of labor history is in them. Then look to other sources to verify whatvere you may have found. It's not surprising see a lot of ommission and whitewashing in education. That's a part of the American Way.

g: Dont judge until youve been there.

Qx: Already been there so don't worry about me judging when what I've been writing are observations backed up by fact. How about you?
