McSpotlight: Nikhil, a site gains popularity from the number of sites that link directly to it. We don't actually link to sites that are fascist or racist (if we do, it's by accident rather than design; such as the URL being down when we went to check it); as such, I was not prepared to countenance direct linkage to it. What I did was point to a search engine and told people what to search under if they wanted to find it; it's not actual censorship because I'm not preventing anyone from getting the information; it's just that I'm damned if I'm going to give that creep's site a free linkage. In retrospect, I probably did go a little beyond my bounds, but all of us at McSpot find that sort of thing truly repellent.
