The burden of prof is with the Christian to prove what he beleives. If he beleives in God then he must prove it. A religious person can never ask his non beleiving freind to prove that God doesn't exist. It is imposible. Science can never prove non-existance. Therefore the burden is the with the person with something to prove. As a Christian I can not ask anyone to prove their beliefs if they rest in the non-existance of elements of my beliefs. I must prove they exist.Furthermore how can there be evidence for the non-existance of God. The basis of the whole argument is that there is NO EVIDENCE. I must start at a place that all me agree with, such as reason and logic, and then through argument draw a picture of and prove a beliefe.
I have gone into the idea of reason and logic as being more important than saying, "Because the Bible says so," in detail in the message entitled "Re: Burning people at the stake is synonymous with 'truth'?" Meanwhile, remember that atheists are in the clear.
