food chain

We humans have deviated from our place in the food chain. For most of our existance we have excepted our omnivore niche, but in the last few thousand years we have attempted to place ourselves at the top of the food chain. To do so we have chopped up the intricately webbed food chain so that it now has dozens of lose ends and all of the other animals can no longer tell which part of the food chain is the top, bottom, center and sides.--
