I never questioned whether eating meat is legal or not. I find it curious that when you get tired of arguing you cement your opinion in the fact that it's legal and a (questionably) majority practice. The same two facts were once true of slavery, and also of spousal abuse. If we all believed 100% in our laws, there would be no debates at all. One could turn your argument around and say that homosexuality, adultery, and abortion are legal, depending on where you are. Does that make them right in YOUR view?
