Primates are shown to possess both vocabulary, abstract reasoning and emotional types; they can invent new words from the synthesis of old ones; as such, primates are self-aware sentient beings. The only reason that most people have for thinking that they're above animals is societal conditioning based on things like the Bible.

Hang on. If they're predisposed to it anyway ("...that they would find preferable"), then how is it a choice, other than the choice between remaining a frustrated closet case all of their lives and actually admitting to themselves what they are?
I would contend that the bias in societal conditioning is for heterosexuality; as such, from where would the influence come to make people "choose" homosexuality? Parents? ; not according to the evidence, which shows no overall inclination for the child of gay parents to be gay themselves.

The disease we know of as AIDS is one strain of the Primate Lentivirus group of the Lentivirus genus of the family Retroviridae. Different strains attack different groups.
To quote from the "AIDS in Africa" paper (from the World Journal of Microbiology & Biotechnology (1995) 11, 135-143)
"If AIDS in Africa is the same condition with the same cause as anywhere else in the world then AIDS in Africa and AIDS in the West should be identical. This is not the case and what is called AIDS in Africa is almost unrecognizably different from AIDS in the West, so much so that if African patients suddenly switched continents, very few Africans would remain AIDS cases. This may seem like a digression, but the reason the western AIDS is seen as a "gay plague" is that transmission through heterosexual contact is only 7% likely after repeated unprotected heterosexual exposure to the disease.
In Africa, it acts as a regular STD, with 80% transmission rates after a few unprotected heterosexual exposures to the disease. If that strain were to make it over to the West and mutate to attack the Caucasian genotype, the myth of AIDS being a "gay plague" would very quickly become extinct (as would a lot of people who thought themselves "safe").

: Not to the extent you are suggesting. It is possible for people to hold different opinions you know. I could say you have been brainwashed by the pro-homosexuality lobby but I wont I simply understand that you disagree with me.
Would you care to point out examples of this pro-gay brainwashing? I can point out examples of pro-heterosexual messages on every street corner, in every cinema and in most magazines; as well as anti-gay ones.

If all sides are allowed to hold an opinion, and people don't get attacked for holding a different opinion, yes. If people who hold different opinions are held to be equal in the eyes of the law to people who don't, yes. This isn't currently the case.

No. The arguments used are similar to those used to persuade people that socialism is perhaps the most natural form of human community; viz; it's what our primate cousins do, not to mention most primitive societies and a lot of advanced ones. Does that make socialism conducive to homosexuality or paedophilia?
