: For those who are insecure enough in their "FAITH" that they actually need debate it or defend it to someone else, here is a place to do it

: Take a cue from McSpotlight. Move on to more heavenly pastures.
: (I second the *sigh* and ad a *yawn*)Thank you for the info Karen. Unfortunately I find your Helping hand on the back bridled in thorns. Why? If you personally cant take a mature discussion about these issues. Dont debate them. Its that simple.
My arguments have absolutely nothing to do with my personal faith. In fact I keep it personal for just that reason.
I brought up a very good point that no one seems to be able to counter. There are certain Organized faiths that have destroyed people in the name of religion. Those organisations need to be held accountable. Dont you agree?

McSpotlight: For Bob Dobb's sake, some people follow one church, some people follow another; there are nice and nasty people on both sides and there's no way of telling which, (if any) is right until you die. So why get so worked up about it?
(You may wonder what happened to the other message you submitted; I rejected it; I judged the tone to be inflammatory both to Lark and to myself; I do not appreciate being told to "Back off!" on the Debating Room I have the responsibility of moderating. It's not a question of bias; I'll junk Lark's messages if he uses an equally inflammatory tone to you; I am neutral, being an atheist in real life. Take this as an example; I'm sorry to have to act this way, but the Anything Else room was not set up to focus entirely on internecine feuds of this sort, which is why taking it to email is a Good Thing.)
