Day 273 - 03 Jul 96 - Page 37
something identifying them as Veggies did they?
A. They have always, I think, had that extra page filled
in at the back.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Well, that seemed to me to be the important--
A. It makes it quite clear, I think.

MR. RAMPTON: In that case--

MR. JUSTICE BELL: If one wanted to distinguish your, I say
'your', I mean Veggies version of the fact sheet, from any
London Greenpeace version the most obvious distinction
would be that back page?
A. That is right. It was the whole page, which is clearly
information about Veggie rather than London Greenpeace.

Q. Can I have a look at that?

MR. RAMPTON: Yes. That is the 1987 version.

MR. MORRIS: And the--

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, pause a moment. (Same handed).
Although, as I asked you a little while ago, it has the
"who made this leaflet" and then it refers to the London
Greenpeace group, it does not have the page giving some
indication of London Greenpeace's aims, it has got
"Veggies, Veggies", instead of that, has it not?

MS. STEEL: There is not a page with London Greenpeace on.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Pause a moment.

MR. MORRIS: It has, it is the back page. Page 7 of the Veggies
leaflet is identical to the back page of the London
Greenpeace fact sheet.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, I see. Well, the copy I have got that
may be right, but what -- it does have that back page, you
are quite right, but I have got--

MR. MORRIS: I do not think it has got the "produced for well
food day" on it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, and that is just specific to the ones
produced for that occasion, is it?

MR. MORRIS: No. The one that says "produced for well food
day", I think is on all the London Greenpeace fact sheets,
but do not forget the last time that was printed as we have
heard was 1987. So--

MR. JUSTICE BELL: But all the Veggies fact sheets, whether they
were in the original form or the modified form, had that on
the back?
A. Yes.

Q. If you held it in its folded form?
A. That is correct, yes
