Day 250 - 15 May 96 - Page 09

       A. Yes.

  Q. On 16th October 1992. It says, "I am sure it is of
interest to you that London Greenpeace is still
distributing these leaflets". Was it of interest to you?
       A. I probably did not receive this one. I was definitely
       sick at that time.

  Q. OK. There is a tick by your copy actually?
       A. Well, that would just be to indicate that was coming to
me, and it would have gone to Mrs. Snowdon who would have
passed it on to Terry Carroll.

  Q. Right. If we move on to tab 180.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let me just make a note. Yes.

MS. STEEL: If you turn to tab 18, which is document 118 in the
       bundle?
       A. Yes.

  Q. There is a letter from McKey Food Service dated 13th July
       1993 to you.
       A. Yes.

  Q. It says, "Dear Sid, as per our discussions reference
Veggies, please find enclosed all the literature which was
handed out on 11th July, at an RSPCA mongrel show which was
held just outside the village of Radford, Nottingham", and
it goes into the information that is in there about
McRip-off badges, Mcpacks and so on, and refers to
intentions to demonstrate at the Don Valley stadium,
McDonald's games, and picket outside of McDonald's Head
Office. It says about all those things that, "I am sure
this information will be useful to you. If you require any
further information from me please let me know".

You were interested to receive that information. I mean,
       you spoke to him before?
       A. I was interested to receive it because this information
was of forthcoming events. What I would do... I cannot
remember, but what I would do is just pass it to Terry
Carroll and said, 'Make sure you have got the forthcoming
       events covered'.

  Q. But you would also be interested in the information that
was available to Mcpacks, and so on?
       A. Well, I probably... I do not know, I cannot remember
what I did with this. I may have sent a copy to
       solicitors.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is there any mystery about this? You would
be interested in any information you got from any source
       about London Greenpeace?
       A. It would go on the file.

  Q. Whether you then took any action on it would depend on the
       information and your own judgment?
       A. That is right. So this would have gone onto the file,
that Terry Carroll kept. The future events would be his
