number, the full number of turns, at about 12 to 14.

  Q. Was there anyone you recognised on that picket?
       A. No.

  Q. Did you tell these details to the solicitors the next day?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: This is '87 still?
       A. Yes... No... Well, I told them eventually, yes.
There was no hurry to tell them the next day.

  Q. The next day was the specific question.

MS. STEEL: Within 2 days, or something like that?
       A. I do not know. At that time I think the partner at
Barlows who was dealing with Greenpeace was Ian Jenkins. I
would certainly meet up with him and discuss what had taken
       place.

  Q. But it was different to 1989 when you went to the
solicitors office and gave full details was it?
       A. No, in 1989 the solicitor came to our office.
I believe it was the next day.

  Q. So, that was because at that time you had decided that you
wanted to take action against the group and so you wanted
to use what had occurred on the picket as evidence in any
court case that might be coming up, or that was intended?
       A. No, not really. My object of attending in '89, I had
had you and Paul Gravett identified to me and I had, at
that time, made up my mind... In fact, I had already
started. I had interviewed the teams that I was going to
put in to do the observation, and I wanted to get a copy of
the leaflet and I wanted to see how you and Paul Gravett
fitted in to the organisation. I was the only person at
that time who knew about you and Paul Gravett.

  Q. You wanted to get a copy of the leaflet at that time?
       A. Yes.

  Q. But you already had one?
       A. I had several.

  Q. You had?
       A. Several.

  Q. You had several?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Of the leaflets complained of in this action?
       A. Yes, and variations of the one complained of in this
       action.

  Q. Where had you got the copies of the leaflet complained of
        -- not the variations?
       A. From all over. They were starting to come in from the
United States, they started coming in from Canada, they
started coming in from Europe. I believe they started
coming in from Japan. I cannot remember whether the ones
coming in... The ones coming in from the State were
