Day 208 - 24 Jan 96 - Page 08

  Q. Do you remember any of the others?
       A. I believe I went to the first one, but I am not
       entirely sure.

  Q. Do you remember what kind of period it was -- you say you
went to one in February last year. How long before that
was the previous one that you had been to?
       A. I could not say, to be honest.

  Q. One year, two years, three years?
       A. It is a lot closer than that. It is just that I did
not actually go to them, so I would not be sure of the
       dates.

  Q. That is what I meant. I meant -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You are being asked if you can remember, even
approximately, how long before February 1995 was the last
rap session you had been to?
       A. Probably about two years before. I am not sure.

MS. STEEL: Right. You may have been to two or three ---
       A. Yes.

  Q. -- in total? Were you an unusual crew member?
       A. Other than the fact that I worked a lot of closes,
       I would not imagine so.

  Q. You would not imagine you were -- it is all right. You
were not especially selected to attend the rap sessions?
       A. No, never.

  Q. Has your view of the Company changed in the last year or
so, or over the time that you have been working for them?
       A. Yes, I suppose it has in a lot of respects. It is
definitely becoming a better Company to work for.

  Q. So, a year ago you would have had a lot of criticisms of
       the Company?
       A. I would not have said I had any criticism of the
Company. I had criticisms, perhaps, of the individual
Managers, and perhaps that was down to training. These
       things are being resolved.

  Q. So you did not have a negative viewpoint of the Company?
       A. No, I would never say I had a negative viewpoint of the
       Company.

  Q. What about the Managers?
       A. The individual Managers, well, they are people at the
end of the day and everybody has different skills and
different personality qualities; and it is about them going
on courses, perhaps, to learn people practice skills,
organisational skills, which they seem to do.

  Q. So, generally, you thought everything was OK apart from a
few problems with the way you were treated by the Managers?
       A. Yes, I would agree with that statement, on the fact
that everybody is individual in a sort of people-orientated
