MR. MORRIS: In Oslo.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Is that a street or a district?
A. That is a street, yes. The full address is
Nedre Slottsgt 21.

MR. MORRIS: Is that one of the largest McDonald's stores in
Norway or the -----
A. It was the first McDonald's store in Norway, and still
one of the largest and most busy.

Q. You say you have worked there since the summer of 1988.
What position have you reached?
A. Well, currently, I am a Swing Manager.

Q. Is that a Floor Manager?
A. That might be. When I am at work I am usually in
charge of an area, either the front or the kitchen area.

MR. MORRIS: I think that is the same as the Floor Manager.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: It is the word used in the United States, or
the equivalent of Floor Manager.

THE WITNESS: We have a Norwegian word for it as well.

MR. MORRIS: But you started off as crew?
A. Yes.

Q. When did you become a -- let us call it Floor Manager?
A. That must have been in 1990, I believe.

Q. When you started, how old were you?
A. I was 16 years old.

Q. 16. So you became a Floor Manager when you were -----
A. 18, perhaps.

Q. Have you had any recognition from the Company apart from
promotion?
A. I have. Before I was a Floor Manager, I was a host.
I have also been Employee of the Year -- for 1990,
I believe.

Q. Employee of the Year?
A. Yes, for my store.

Q. How much of the time you have worked at McDonald's has been
full-time?
A. I worked for about six or seven months before I went
into the army, and for about two or three months after
that.

Q. Right. When was that roughly ---
A. That was ---

Q. -- did you go in the army?
