17 standing up, Mr. Gibney, because it is easier to hear
18 witnesses if they stand up. If at any stage you want to
19 sit down during your evidence, just pull the chair

29 Q. You say in your statement that you are 25 years old. What
30 are you now?
31 A. I am 27.

33 Q. 27 now. Can you just say what your current position is?
34 A. I am a self-employed partner in a small transport
35 company.

38 A. That is right.

40 Q. Just a little bit about what you have been doing since you
41 left McDonald's. You joined McDonald's in June 1984 as a
42 16-year-old; is that correct?
43 A. That is right, yes.

45 Q. I am going to go into that in a minute. You left in
46 December 1987?
47 A. Yes, that is right.

49 Q. What have you been doing since then; what jobs and what
50 positions have you done since?
51 A. A stop gap, I worked in a public house for a short
52 while before becoming self-employed; mainly waste
53 collection; and, since 1990, the transport business.

56 after that, just to explain certain details and expand a
57 little bit. Have you got your statement in front of you?
