       again, sorry?
       A. Yes, they did.

  Q. You did not give it to them. Did you still have the
report, the full report, at that stage, or had you already
       destroyed it?
       A. I do not believe I did, because shortly after I got
this I did not need the backup information, and I believe
       it would have been destroyed.

  Q. So despite the fact that -----
       A. Wait a second, wait a second.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you want to add something?
       A. Yes. I did have it at the time with the sisters,
because I remember going to it, looking for it, because
they had asked in their letter, and I went to go see if
       I could dig it out of my materials, and I did so have it;
       yes, I did.

MS. STEEL: But you did not show it to them?
       A. As I recall, I offered to show it to them.

  Q. How long after that was it destroyed?
       A. I really do not -- and I am not trying to avoid you at
all -- I really do not keep track of those things; I really
do not. After that, I do not recall a request for any of
the backup information. I periodically remove things from
my files; I do a purge and I get rid of things that I do
       not anticipate needing.

MR. MORRIS: You never looked at it again, that you can recall,
after that time with the sisters in mid-1991?
       A. I sure do not remember.

  Q. Or was it January 1991? It might have been.
       A. I do not recall seeing it after that.

  Q. You did not even ask to see it after that time, then?
       A. I do not recall anybody asking me for it, and I do not
recall there ever being a reason for me to look at it.

  Q. Mr. Stein, what about the shareholders' resolution that was
being planned for May 1992 ---
       A. There was -----

  Q. -- on this very subject? Surely, all departments, the
Corporation's legal department, other major shareholders,
or whatever, would have been very concerned to see this
report that was the subject of the shareholders'
       resolution?
       A. Mr. Morris, with all due respect, there was no
       shareholder proposal ------

  Q. There were planning a shareholder ------

MR. RAMPTON: Mr. Morris must let the witness finish his answer,
       please.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. (To the witness) Say anything more you
