MR. RICHARD STEIN, recalled
Cross-examined by the Defendants

MR. MORRIS: There is thing I want to hand up. It was served
this morning. It is a statement for the purposes of this
case which I got last night from the person who did the
survey, the Philadelphia Unemployment Project Survey.

MR. RAMPTON: So far as I know, my Lord, Mr. Stein has not seen
a copy of this. He certainly ought to have done.
I, myself, have no comment to make about this; it would not
be right for me to make comment about it. Mr. Stein should
certainly see it before he is asked any questions about it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. MORRIS: If it can be shown to the witness?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Has Mr. Stein had an opportunity to read
Dr. Bartell's letter?

MR. RAMPTON: Yes, I think he has.

THE WITNESS: Which one is that?

MR. RAMPTON: That was the one that was produced yesterday.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: From Temple University.

THE WITNESS: Yes, I have.

MR. RAMPTON: He can have my copy.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just read this one. (Handed)

THE WITNESS: Thank you.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do not make any comment. When you have read
it, send it back to Mr. Ryde. In due course, I will put
that in pale blue volume II after the Civil Evidence Act
Notices.

MS. STEEL: Yes. We were going to ask for the Civil Evidence
Act Notices on it.

THE WITNESS: I have read it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do not make any comment.

MS. STEEL: (To the witness) Can I just ask: you said that
you have consulting responsibility in the human resources
area with approximately 79 countries outside of the US. Is
that all the countries in which McDonald's operates?
A. Yes, it is.

Q. It is?
A. Yes.
