     6        recall there was a challenge -- I do not have the details
     7        on me -- there was a court case or a challenge or a suit by
     8        black franchisees over the lack of black representation in
     9        black areas?  This was some time ago.  I presume you would
    10        recall that?
    11        A.  I do not know what particular case you are referring
    12        to.  It would be helpful if you could .....

    17        You said you had in the neighbourhood of 70 or 80 vice
    18        presidents; you thought 14 or 15 of those would be women,
    19        I think.

    MR. JUSTICE BELL:  You said 80 but then later either Ms. Steel
    22        or Mr. Morris used the number 70, according to the
    23        transcript, but you said 80 and you said something like the
    24        figure Ms. Steel has put to you.

    26   MS. STEEL:  On page 81, line 38, Mr. Beavers said:  "It would
    27        not be 200.  It is probably in the neighbourhood of 70 or
    28        80"?

    35        15 women.  "I could be off by two, so I would say if we are
    36        talking about an audience of 80, almost 15, better than 15
    37        per cent" and then you went on to black people and said 8
    38        out of 10 per cent.
    39        A.  Right.  That is the 80, that would be all officers,
    40        Assistant Vice Presidents and above.

    46   Q.   According to the 1992 Annual Report, there is quite a lot
    47        more than that and I was going to ask whether you could
    48        just go through that and indicate which of those were
    49        women, how many of them were women and how many were people
    50        from ----- 
    51        A.  That also includes our overseas, some of our overseas 
    52        operations.  I was speaking specifically of -----

    54   Q.   I have added up the Regional Vice Presidents.  There are 33
    55        of those.
